May 8th, Apartment >Despite what happened after the hit on the art gallery, back in the apartment, you’ve been noticing Viveca has had a change in mood, ranging from acting childlike to moody. >And despite the growth in your relationship with her, and the bursts of happiness you are greeted with, the events of May 2nd still linger along with its bitterness afterwards. >Instead of giving into the temptations to drink and smoke your cumulative sorrows away, you felt it best to help cheer her up some other way. >You walk inside your apartment, carrying a bag filled with some goodies. >Viveca sees you walk inside, gets up from the couch and gives you a hug. >”Welcome back, papa.” “Hey there, Viv.” You said as you rubbed her head. >She eyes the bags you are carrying, and looks up at you. “Got some things for you. Come on, let’s head back to the couch and I’ll show you.” >At the couch, Viveca sits at its edge with some excitement as you produce four boxes. “Now don’t think I haven’t noticed, but the apartment has been looking a little messy lately.” >Viveca looks away, a little upset. “Hey,” you said while gently cupping her cheek, “That is why we’re a team. And to help ourselves as a team, I thought I’d get you something that will help us be a better team.” >You grab the first box and handed it to her. >She opened it, and started with wide eyes, producing a red dot scope. “That’s not all” and handed her the second box. >Opening that one, she gave a huge smile as she pulls out a muzzle break. >”Can I put accessories on now!?” Viveca announced, ready to bounce off the couch. “Nope, not yet. You still have two more boxes to open.” As you handed her the third one. >Quickly grabbing the third box, she opened it with fervor, but gave a look of a bit of confusion. “What is this for? This isn’t the usual 00 buckshot you get us.” holding a box of birdshot. “I figured this coming weekend we find a place to go skeet shooting together.” >”Sheet shooting?” “Yeah. Two clay targets are thrown into the air, and we shoot them. And with all of this gear I got you, every shooter there will look at us with jealousy.” >Hearing this brought Viveca on the verge of tears. “Hey, hold it, one last gift for you,” Handing her the final box. >Wiping away the tears welling up and still holding a big smile, she open the final box. >Her face flashed in an instant to a confused look and then an irritated look. “And when we go, I’d want you to wear that.” >”You think this funny?” >She held up a pink shirt with a crown that said “Daddy’s Little Princess” >You gave a chuckle, and gave her a big hug. “It’s because you are my little princess, and I love you.” >”Cyka blayt…” >Viveca then embraced you tightly as well. >”Me too, papa.”
