>You sit typing away at your computer >The stuff for work that needed your attention got done roughly 2 hours ago >Right now you're just trying to type up a story but have massive writers block >there's a light tap on your open door, someone's politely entering your room and trying to get your attention "Yes?" you say as you swivel around in your chair >Standing in the door frame is your wife of almost a year, Lilly >she's in a modest but very fashionable looking white blouse and black skirt that goes down to her feet from the very late Victorian era >I mean, she is a Martini-Henry after all >She owns some modern clothing for going out for normal everyday outings so people don't stare at her, but she prefers to wear clothing from her era around the house >In her hands are two mugs, steam rising from the contents within >"I was making some tea and thought you would like some" Lilly says as she walks towards you "Thank you hun" you reply, taking one of the mugs from her >Black tea, milk, sugar >Just how you like it >You take a sip and lean back in your chair as the warm liquid slides down your throat "This was just what I needed. Have I told you that you make some of the best tea in the world?" you respond >Lilly giggles in response >"Only every time I make it" she responds >Her focus is suddenly changed to the computer >"My, this doesn't look like work stuff. Are you slacking off again?" she says, a cheeky grin growing on her face "No I''m not a slacker, I got my work done ages ago" you reply, "I'm just writing a story but I seem to have a bit of writers block" >"hmm...what's this story about then?" Lilly says "Well uh...." you start as you feel your face turn red >"I knew it, you're writing one of those lewd stories aren't you. I knew my Anon was a deviant" Lilly says >"Any fantasies you have that you're not sharing with me in bed?" She continues, her cheeky grin turning more and more devilish as she continues "No!" you blurt out, "It's uhh.....it's about us" "You remember how those guys online asked about how we met and everything" you continue >"Quite, some of them were rather strange. I mean, why would you ask for pictures of someones feet? It's not like that person would [clears throat] get off to sort of thing?" Lilly says "Honey...you have no idea, but that's not the point" "They kind of, wanted more stories of us" you say >"Hmmm...did you tell them the bear attack story?" Lilly says "Yeah, I put that in the whole 'how we met' story" you reply >"What about the hunting trip" she asks, trying to help you write a story "Well....kind of. I dramatized it just a wee bit with skinwalkers and a plane crash, but I got rid of it because well...I didn't think it fit with the other stories" you say >"Hmmm...." Lilly says, looking at the screen intently like every bit of focus she has it put towards the task at hand >"Why not write episodic stories" she replies "Episodic..." you say trailing off, "Like there's no real connected plot right" >"I mean, what else would it mean?" Lilly replies "Right" you say, thinking "Yeah that would work, just short stories about our daily life every now and again" you say with growing confidence >Lilly gives you a light sock on the shoulder before turning to leave >"See, you always come around in the end" she says >You watch her leave the room, her mug of tea in hand >As she exits the door way she turns her head to face you and give you a sly grin >It's a grin you saw only a few times before you two got married, but many time afterwards >"Knock em' dead you hear me" she says before walking down the hall "I know what else is going to be knocked dead later tonight" you say to yourself as you swivel back around to start writing >"I heard that!" Lilly loudly says from down the hall
