Not two seconds later, 30 people are looking at the young woman standing on top of the Jagdtiger, staring towards the treeline through her binoculars . >I’m not sure it is hostile though… She says that to no one in particular. Her gaze is still fixed at the still unknown object that caught attention somewhere in the distant. A second turns into two, and then three. no one says a word. Everyone is completely silent, waiting for what Lily is about to say ‘Speak to us, Miss. What do you see?’ Someone behind you couldn’t keep silent anymore >I think this is one of us, it could be a... truck or something She confirms this about 15 seconds later >Yeah, it’s a truck Before you actually see anything, you can hear it. Some distant engine noise, and you can soon see what is making it. It might just be the single most american thing you have ever seen. A drab green, somewhat beaten up early 90 truck. It is somewhat raised, running on large off road wheels, slewing black smoke behind it. On the bed is what appears to be a TOW missile launcher, and soon you can hear the unmistakable sound of rap-metal. The whole things brings a tear to your eye. The truck slows to a halt as the road it was traveling on is filled with tanks. A man steps out ‘Good mornin’ fellas. Got some block goin’ here?’ >Unintentional if anything. We we don’t mean to hold you up The man gazes over to Lily, undressing her with his eyes. Just after that, he realizes she is standing more than nine feet up and then at the Jagdtiger ‘What is gods name is that?’ Lily’s face can be so expressive. You can easily tell what she feels. Her mouth, eyes, eyebrows… You have learned to read her. And the expression she is wearing right now is one of the most satisfying things you’ve ever seen. The only thing you can think off that you liked better is the sweaty and rosy one she had, with her eyes looking at nothing at all, mouth slightly ajar and breathing heavily that night the Jagdtiger got the engine. But this isn’t much worse either. It is so incredibly smug it’s almost painful to watch. Smiling, yes, but a dishonest one. It is a bit… narrower than her genuine smile. Glittering hazel eyes half closed and lowered eyebrows >This… Her smug smile evolves into the kind of grin a man would have when his friend asks him what he did during the weekend, when he spent all of it at mach 2 in an F-14 getting head from a supermodel. You chuckle to yourself a little bit and happily stare at the woman having the time of her life >...is a Jagdtiger The man is awe-struck. The vehicle is very imposing, being almost 35’ long with the gun and over 12 wide with the mudguards. But you think it is also has something to do with the very wide tracks. It does give the machine some presence, like… a stance. The man looks at it with an expression of what could be both envy and awe. You climb out of the mud pit and nod towards the men “You guys seems to be in a rush, mind if i ask where you are heading?” ‘We’re running reconnaissance for a convoy on a southern road. Supplying some base out west with munitions’ “That’s most likely us. Are you about 15 miles out?” ‘Sounds about right’ One of the men, who is really just a big boy or maybe a young man looks at the big machine with glowing eyes, as if he just turned 18 and was given a brand new Mustang >Like it? His eyes are torn away from the canon and towards Lily he is now sitting on the side of the superstructure, and he stutters out a response ´I-It looks amazing. I can’t believe how you even got this thing working. I mean, compared to the Stuart i was trained on…” “Hold up, you’re a tanker?” ‘Not really. I was trained two months in a classroom and another two in a 80 year old light tank’ Just as you are about to answer him, there is screaming from the pit ‘One of those big fuckers, we have to bounce, right fucking now! >What are you, a little girl? It’s only a class 4. EVERYONE, GET BEHIND THE GUN “Lily is right, get in the tank, and i want AP loaded, come on! Lily doesn't slip into the gunner’s position like she usually does, but rather the driver's hatch, so she can pretend she is actually moving the levers and button when the massive V12 is woken up and the tank starts turning. The rest of the crew scrambles out to the vehicles and get readied up as soon as they can. anyone else makes sure they are either beside or behind the Jagdtiger. Most of them knew very well what the gun was capable of and opted not to be anywhere near the muzzle blast “Gunner, target at 12 o'clock, range estimated to 800” >Are we loaded yet!? The strong man just behind you grunts as the large powder charge is rammed into the breach. Once again, Lily shivers just a little bit when this is done ‘AP, up!’ >Target in sight, 750 and closing “Fire when ready” Less than a second later, the entire vehicle rocks back, torturing the rear suspension even more than before. The sound is ear deafening and feels like a gut punch, even from inside the fighting compartment. The round hits just over center of mass and creates a spectacular fountain of blood, gore and organs as the 2 pound bursting charge detonates inside, filling the entire creature with glowing hot, supersonic shrapnel. At this point you could hear the difference between the sound of the explosions. The the projectile left the barrel, it was a loud, low, growling thud. Something a large, wounded animal would make. The sound the 65 pound projectile made when it something and detonated was more of a high pitched screaming. The difference was of course because the bursting charge is made up of high explosives, while the powder was a more slow burning powder. True to your role, you scan for further targets. Nothing sighted “Alright, that was it” The young man stumbles out of the old Chevrolet. ‘...with one shot. You killed a class 4 with one shot’ Surprisingly, Natalya answers him ¤ It appears you like what you see, is that correct, little tanker? ‘y-yes’ Natalya takes a step forward, smiles lightly, puts on the just-a-little-too-seductive voice and locks her icy eyes into him ¤ Maybe we can arrange something. I am Natalya. I’ll back at the base later Her charcoal black hair gets caught in the wind as she turns around and heads over to the Jagdtiger. She wanted to make an impression, and judging by the the look on the young man, she has succeeded. The man is pulled back, and gets in the truck before it speeds off, once again blasting rap-metal. You hand over the shovel to someone a bit bigger than you are and walk over to Natalya “Going all seductive, are we?” ¤ Please don’t look at me like that. The tank needs a crew. And by the way he looked at the Jagdtiger… “Hey, not saying what you did was wrong. And yeah, he did look kinda funny” ¤ If he wants to join, i can teach him. And maybe he won’t beat me “Well, as long as Lily is around, no one will” Natalya goes silent and lowers her head a little “We got you. Don’t worry” ¤ That is comforting, yet i regret to have to say it is also uncomfortable. How can i take care of a crew and a tank if you have to care for me “That should be a problem of the past. You pick your crew now” ¤ I just wish i had more time “Well, everyone does. Time is the only real enemy. By the way, you’re the one who has been around since ‘45, not me” >You two, i think you wanna hear this “Wait a second, what is that in your hand?” >Don’t look at me like that! “You’re using a tablet. Wow” >Oh shut up, you. Anyway, i looked up what the guy said, and it’s some state sponsored thing with the tank training. They have lots of people wanting to train, but the machines are often mismatched and too small, and there are not enough actual tanks to use.... “Wait a second now…” Lily looks up as if she just realized what she said “You mean to tell me there is a bunch of people that have done basic training for tanking and have no vehicles to use” >not exactly, but… Yes The three of you are silent for some time ¤ The depot… >There was 20 or so vehicles almost fixed, including the MBT that just needed some software help, and another… 80 or so in repairable condition. It’s brilliant. They repair the vehicle, earn the trust of… Lily stares towards you, one eye half closed >...her, and then we have another 60 steel hulled tanks and about 30 Sheridans, and some odd ones ¤ yes, and i don’t think the people there are going to be much of a problem, after what you did to them! >I only did what was necessary “You two, calm down. I understand that this sounds like some 5th grade perfect matchups stuff, but how are you going to explain… well, what you are?” Silence. “I mean it is going to looks somewhat suspicious to others, isn’t it? Especially when there is up to a hundred vehicles, all with a girl in them” ¤ It was not all. I’d say maybe 70% >Something like that, yes “Anyway, uhh… times are different now and people have different interests for different reasons, and we might get away with…” >If you say what i think you are about to say, i will punch you “I didn’t even say anything” >But you thought about it. Don’t try your luck “Alright, miss mind reader, i’ll keep my mouth shut, you just come up with a better idea” Lily looks troubled. On the one hand, those tanks needs to be put to work. On the other, there is a secret she is very keen on not revealing. Fair enough there was a little tank expert found in some, if not most old WWII and early cold war vehicles, and something could be lied up by the little protector of that tank at that time, but if there was 70 of them at once, someone is bound to get suspicious. And maybe someone will do what Lily did and tell the truth. And while it would be nice to have someone to discuss these girl with, it might be for the best if you don’t. ‘I think we’re finished here, care to give us a pull?’ A very muddy man stands at the back of the Jagdtiger with a shovel in his hand “Yeah, sure, we were just talking here. We’ll be right along” Three tanks were needed to pull the Sherman out of the hole. And if the M60 brought a lot of mud with it, the Sherman brought up an entire pit. You watch the crew tend to their vehicle, before deeming it satisfactory, hopping in and heading back to the base. On the way home, you thought about how easily you could see how long someone has been around tanks. The less experienced tend to sit inside the vehicle while traveling. Those who have been around for longer usually sits half or entirely outside the vehicle. A little like you do now. On the right hand side, at the front of the superstructure, with legs tangling inside through the commanders hatch. Lily say on top of her hatch, just to the left of you. Sometimes she would crawl over and lie down with her head in your lap, you you could give her a little more attention. And with those eyes staring back up at you, that warm smile… You couldn’t really say no. But right now, there were other people around, so Lily settled for just a little smile to you every few minutes. >Hey Anon? “yeah?” >We have quite a lot of things to do when we get home… “We do. And i think we have to head to the depot some day to see what happened there” >Not just that. The Panzer IV in the woods is still bugging me. The whole thing was so off it was just silly. And why were the idler wheels missing? They are not light things or anything, you can’t walk away with them “So they should be nearby the tank?” >Should. But as i said, none of that makes sense. Also, we should see if Natalya needs a hand with her- ¤ I will do this on my own. You have things to tend to Natalya has been sitting on the engine cover for the trip, leaning her back against the back of the superstructure, out of sight for the both of you. The conversation dies a little from there, and you resign to just thinking and Lily tries her best to fill in the gaps where the driver is too rough with the gearbox When you arrive at the base, there is a lot of commotion there. Lots of army vehicles, but seemingly no combat vehicles. Thank god for the US army supply chain. There are so many trucks, carrying fuel, food, spare parts, and most importantly, ammunition. One of the trucks stands next to where the Jagdtiger is usually parked, near the end of the “parking lot”. A tired but clean shaven man in his mid 20s looks down in some papers until the engine is shut down and goes silent. The man looks up at you ‘I take you are the commander of the vehicle?’ “Yeah, i am. Name is Anon, pleased to meet you” ‘I’m priv- augh, just Bob, okay?’ “Sure, Bob. What do you have for me today?” ‘The army seems to be very keen on giving you every kind of ammunition it has. Come down here, i’ll show you” Lily has sneaked up behind you, and her eyes are glowing like tracers in the night when the man reveals the contents of the truck. ‘So, i’ll just explain what kind of shells you have now. Since this thing has one of the biggest guns around, the brass was very keen on using it as a test bed, so i’ll start with AP, which you have like 5 or 6 types of’ >y-yes… The man looks at Lily, looking somewhat concerned. But drooling girls are better than having to carry shit, so he keeps going ‘These are pretty much the same ones the gun fired in last great war. Pretty much same everything, but with a slightly bigger bursting charge, the have a single red stripe’ The man points at the tip of the shell ‘Twin red stripes means solid AP shot. Made out of “very hard metals”. It has no bursting charge, but will shatter after penetration, or before if you fire it against a mountain or something’ Lily nods and scribbles everything down in her notebook ‘Oh, forgot to say, all kinetic projectiles uses the heavier, light colored powder charge’ “So you have more kinetic projectiles” ‘yes, another… 4 types. Two kinds of discarding sabots, the one with white stripe is a little heavier, lower velocity. The one with black stripe is very light, same kind of penetrator that the NATO 120 mm guns use, or was it used… Anyway, you will get an insanely high muzzle velocity with that one’ Lilly giggles ‘And for reasons i don’t understand, they have also given you a small quantity of hollow points, and what appears to be two solid lead projectiles’ Lily is almost skipping now, her feet arm moving, even is she is standing still ‘That’s it for the kinetic rounds, you also have three kinds of chemical rounds, all firing the lighter powder charge that is a little darker in color. You have HE-Frag, HEAT and HESH’ >This is going to be sooo much fun!! The man looks with a somewhat worried expression on lile “Erm, you know, gunners…” You try a stale chuckle as you begin unloading the truck The process of discussing loading the shells into the vehicles is heavy work, but is somewhat aided by the large door at the back of the superstructure. And while it looks like Lily is having issues with carrying the heavy projectiles, her grip around it suggests that she is having an easier time than it looks. Maybe this has something to do with her connection. But these shells are not original or anything. They are factory new, and has really no connection between these parts of metal and the Jagdtiger, apart from happening to fit inside the gun breech. Strange True to her German nature, she spends a good hour just reading through the specifics of the rounds. Muzzle velocity, shell weight, propellant weight and burn speed, drag coefficient, adjustable fuze times. She studies ballistic charts, as well as estimated penetration charts for the AP rounds at ranges up to 3000 meters. She reads up on the explosive type of the chemical rounds. She reads and memorizes any and all numbers she can get a hold of. It’s absolutely fascinating seeing her reading. She said something about drawing a picture in your head when you read, and how it helps you remember. This does however mean using any and all concentration her brain can muster and she looks like she is sucking in information through her eyes. Despite only knowing her for a few months, you know she will know every number in those papers, and will be able to recite them in her sleep, but she will still keep the papers in case anyone tries to say she is wrong, to which she will happily shove the papers in their face. Lily isn’t much company is she is right now, and while the Jagdtiger isn’t loaded up just yet, the loaders can handle that. You climb up on the vehicle, fold open a camping chair, open up a cola and ponder the mysteries of life You were sent to this base, away from your own to hold of an attack, that just isn’t coming. There is a Panzer IV stranded in the woods, that was sabotaged in a very strange way, and you feel some kind of obligation to fix it. Why? Because it was german? Lily felt some connection to… it? Or her? Then again, Lily didn’t seem to like her very much. Then again, this still has to be a question concerning a tank more than anything else. It may inferior to many tanks in many aspects. Reliability and mobility, most importantly. The gun had performance similar to the American 76mm, so it was a solid performer up until the second world war ended but it was easily capable of dealing with any class 3, and soft spots on class 4s from short ranges, even if that with a high risk The autumn sun hangs low over the horizon, and is you find things very pleasant. There isn’t any wind, so even if your hoodie isn’t very wind resistant, the sun warms you up. The lukewarm can of cola has just run dry, and you set it down next to the rear part of the Lathi You take a moment to think about what you just did. You are sitting on top of a WWII heavy tank destroyer. In full working condition. Just below you is a young woman, who has apparently been supposed to take care of the vehicle since it rolled out of the factory in october 1944. And she looks like she is around 20. Little over maybe. And you have been inseparable pretty much since they day you met. This was all very surprising when it first happened but it just wasn’t anymore. You never imagined you would find anything like a Jagdtiger to be part of your daily life, but it was. That is the foremost strength of the human. The power to adapt. A human can get used to almost any condition i is faced with, as long as it get the minimum physical requirements for life. Sleeping to the sound of gunfire, living in horrible environments, eating food that one would think inedible earlier. But it’s not just adjusting to bad things. Pretty much all things that you take care of every day, almost all things that goes into your daily routine becomes mundane. And the 75 ton steel monster you just set down you can of coke on might just become mundane one day. Stop being exciting. It sure as hell isn’t right now, but one day, it might be. Maybe not, the pure gut punch from the PaK 44, the absolute furious scream of the V12 at full rpm, the feeling of safety behind all that steel, and the awesome presence of the vehicle itself, the looks and attention it draws to itself… Okay, maybe the Jagdtiger is a bad example But Lily… Every time you see her it’s the the little tingling sensation in you. Every time you touch her you feel warm, and with every kiss you feel that fire in you. You doubt Lily will ever become something ordinary or something mundane. But she is something you would love to get used to. You were a bit afraid that you would somehow end up taking her for granted, but she seems to fix that for you. There is no hidden agenda about her, a very welcome honesty. If she wants to be carried around all day, she will tell you that. If she wants your attention, she will sit in your lap and indirectly force you to hug her. If you asked her if something was wrong, she was going to tell you exactly how she felt. Because that is how problems are solved Your philosophy session comes to an end as the sun touches the horizon. It will be cold within 10 minutes now. You leave the chair and head backwards, to the engine deck. But on engine deck is occupied, or at least parts of it is. On the frontmost part, leaning her back against the rear of the superstructure, you see a familiar figure “Hey Lily” She bends her head backwards, looking straight up into you. She is smiling. >Hey there This angle gave you a very nice view of her “Wanna grab some dinner? There is a small kitchen connected to the workshop, it should be abandoned at this hour. I can makes us something, just the two of us. Interested?” >Of course i am Lily stuffs away her papers, and you collect the necessary ingredients from one of the many boxes that hangs of the large vehicle. You stuff it all in a backpack and when you hop down from the vehicle, Lily is waiting with a smile in her face and her left arm extended towards you. Her hand is open and without any hesitation you gently take it in your and head of to the workshop While walking, you consider what you thought about earlier. Will Lily ever stop being exciting? You decide to make a little test. “Lily…” >Yes?” “I love you” The grip around your hand tightens, and she does something a little funny. While exhaling, she sort of draws her chest inwards which makes her collar bones stand out a little more, while pushing her shoulder forwards and a little down. >I love you too You feel the way your body reacts to those three simple words. One could argue that just three words would never change anything, never mean very much. But what you feel when hearing that… No, Lily was never going to be mundane, boring, beige or anything like that. You were never going to get tired of Lily. This point is proven many times over the night. The conversation is flowing, she is laughing, you are laughing. You spoke about all manner of things, serious or silly, fun or sad. It didn’t matter if it all went quiet for a minute, because it was never an awkward silence. There may have been some feet brushing against each other, and some semi-drunk giggling from the bottle of white wine you paid way too much for. But to give Lily something special, to make her feel special, to make her feel loved. You will happily do it again. It ends up with you sitting with your back against the oven, with a slightly drunk Lily in your arms. It is the first time you have seen her like this. She is giggling like a retard, burbling a little. And while she genuinely is happy, her legs aren’t very stable This does however present you with a very pleasant opportunity to play the white knight. Cleaning up the kitchen goes kinda quickly with Lily mostly sitting on the side giggling at things you say or do. And it just warms your heart. You know she is a little drunk, but she has really gotten herself become very childish now. You are left with no choice but to pick her up. Her body offers no resistance as you cradle and carry it off to your room. She has completely surrendered to you. You manage to open up the door without really using you hands and set her down on the bed and get her out of her clothes She is so beautiful. You take a minute just to look at her from the yellow light of the lightbulb over you. You take a quick dash into the shared bathroom and then back to Lily. You decide that something that beautiful and seemingly defenseless shouldn’t lie on top of a bed alone, so you tear off your clothes, scattering them all around the floor and diving in under the covers as soon as as you have placed Lily under them as well. She turns her arms around her back, and after a little fiddling, removes her second to last piece of clothing and then crawls up next to you, burying her face in your shoulder. You adjust her position slightly, making sure she has your arm to rest on. “Good night Lily” Lily mumbles something you don’t quite pick up and tightens her grip around you. You fall asleep shortly afterwards. Smiling The morning after, you are awoken by a very irritating beeping sound. The sound of a phone. As you attempt to reach it, Lily grips you tighter and moans >Don’t goooo…. “I’m not going anywhere, i just need my cell” Due to Lily struggling, you missed the call, And have to listen to voicemail instead. It was from Natalya, claiming she has new information about what happened to the Depot after the attack, and wants you to head out to the tanks. Turns out, Lily is a bit of a lightweight and has no intention of leaving the bed. It hurts a little unwrapping yourself from Lily’s grip, because she really wants to hold onto you, making sure you lie with her in bed all day. You tuck her in again, making sure she has some water within an arm's reach, and then grab a PW meal en route to the tanks. The IS-3 is standing just where it has been for a few days now, but the hatches are all opened, and there is muffled noises coming from inside. You bang on the hemispherical turret a few times “Natalya?” There noises from inside stops and Natalya pokes her head out of the commanders hatch. There is a hint of dirt and grease on her face and her hair is tied up in a bun on the back of her head. She looks suspiciously happy ¤Hello Anon! “Hey there. I got your message earlier” ¤Yes, i have gotten in contact with the depot. “What happened after we left?” Natalya looks around, not entirely satisfied with the amount of people around the two of you ¤ Could you come up here? You begin to climb up. Crawling up on a tank is never a dignified process, even if the low profile of the IS-3 helps a little. It’s still a lot easier than to get up on the Jagdtiger, but still doesn’t look very graceful. Natalya sits on the edge of the loaders hatch, and pats a little spot next to her, invitingly ¤ Now, so i got some really strange messages last night, and i had to… wait, where is Lily, she is always around you? “She’s in bed still” ¤ ...okay. Anyway, i didn’t think anyone still transmitted messages in morse code, but it is done apparently. I think it was from the depot so it least someone must have survived the attack “Considering what went down last time, i don’t think we are welcome there anymore” ¤ Maybe we cannot wait for an invitation, there is a ...meeting that has to take place. I think the feasibility of the project has to be looked further into. And If it might work, what the man there think of it matters little. What Natalya says is most likely right, even if she puts it in a blunt way “So we have to go back there again?” ¤ I’m sure that the prototype will still be unfinished, but most issues should be electrical, or with a computer “I bet Miranda could fix that. Or at least see what was wrong” ¤ So bring her along “Well, i’m not comfortable with leaving the neither the machine nor Lily for very long. And While happily bring Lily along, i can’t actually stay there and fix the vehicle. And even if i did, it still doesn’t have any crew” ¤ It can be solved Natalya bangs the hatch slightly and shouts something into the turret. A young man nestles his way out of the commanders hatch. It is the same person who got very interested in the Jagdtiger yesterday. He extends his hand towards you ‘You’re Anon, right? I’m Michel, pleased to meet you!’ “Nice to meet you. I see you two have gotten acquainted already” ¤ Yes, Mike is going to show me he can work with a tank, and then he might be able to join the crew” “Well, that’s nice to hear, you’re fixing something in there?” ‘Yeah, hydraulic motor in the turret died, so i see if i can repair or replace it’ “Trial by fire i see.. Anyway, Natalya, could you come with me for a minute?” ¤ Sure Natalya says that with a hint of worry in her voice, and hops down from the tank as Mike goes back into the turret “So, i’m gonna go back there? ¤ It has to be done, and you are really the only one who spoke with them. “He did mentioned he wanted one of you as a payment. Not sure how much Wendy managed to talk him out of that” ¤ Or just end him. I don’t think he will be missed “ I could do that i guess. Then again, he appears to be a good mechanic ¤ Nothing we couldn’t do here “Well, at my base we could easily do that. Our mechanics are very good. I’m not sure about it here” ¤ At any rate, we have to find out “When you say “we” you mean me, right?” ¤ i didn’t mean that, it’s just that- “Yeah, no worry. I get what you mean. What you can do is sit here and find a good excuse as to why there are people in the tanks, because we have to address that little… issue” ¤ I understand. Leave it to me, It is more my problem than yours anyway “Right, i’ll speak to you before i head off. And i’ll see if i do this alone or not. See ya” ¤ See you Once again, you head off to the vehicle hall. It is used mainly to story Pickups and 4x4s, the ones not seized by the military anyway. But this time, you could get practuícally any car you wanted. No need to carry anything or anyone, just go to the depot ask some question, see what’s going on and then go back. This could be done before dinner if a good car is found. You stroll along the 100 or so cars parked here. The two wagons used last cars stand cuddled up next to each other. Either of them will technically get the job done, but… there are more interesting things here. Or so you thought when you headed into the hall. You are met with endless lines of ecoboxes, few bigger sedans, the obligatory surplus Crown vics, some people carriers. There is the odd sportscar, but they seem to have lived a hard life all of them. As you stroll further into the heart of the hall, into the lesser touched parts of it all hope of finding something remotely interesting fades away. Another Corolla, another accord, another… Parked in the very corner of the garage, practically hiding behind two vans. Covered in one of those gray “expensive car plastic cover” things. You have to climb on top of some other cars to actually get to it. You can see a coupe shape, slanted back, somewhat high nose. After some more squeezing through parked cars you arrive at the mystery vehicle under the cover. Some quick tearing it away reveals the car. Silver paint, round headlights sitting on each side of a slanted hood. The windscreen is relatively upright for a sportscar, and leads to a roof that has one long continuous line all the way to the rear bumper. Under that, the rear wheel arches bulge out to contain the big wheels. Half an hour you planned to make this journey alone, but this could even be made fun today. You hide the car under its cover again, and nestle your way out of the maze of cold cars and get back to the main building, and with a grin on your face. You are going to spend all day with Lily. On the way to the room, that you sadly were going to be thrown out of as of tonight. You get some coffee, and two sandwiches. You walk into the room without even knocking, causing her to jump up a bit and quickly cover herself up >You scared me! “Sorry, but we have stuff to do today. I found something fun in the garage. But we have to get you dressed now, i’ve picked up breakfast for you” Despite your fast pace Lily, remains stationary on the bed, doing her best to look adorable as she stares into you “...Fine i’ll help you. What clothes do you want?” Same look, glimmering puppy eyes “Sounds like Jeans and a hoodie to me” She smiles, as you go through the procedure of getting her into all of her clothes. The groping is kept to a minimum as you are somewhat conscious about not getting this whole affair dragged out. But Lily loves the attention she gets, and thanks you with an embrace and a kiss. She seems different now. Away is the tired and groggy, and here is just… Lily. Happy, beautiful, lovable Lily. >You wanted to show me something “Oh, yeah, lost in thought i guess. Get the coffee and i’ll explain on the way” You explain how you have been elected as a recon, what needs to be checked with the depot and other things. Lily listens to everything, but seems somewhat confused as you walk past the Volvo and the Mercedes and head deeper into the vehicle hall. “...so the reason i wanted you along today is because i found a Porsche” >A porch? Isn’t that what you have on front of your house? “What? I mean the manufacturer. p-o-r-s-c-h-e” >Tssk, Americans... It’s not french, so you pronounce the “e”. Porsche. Lily freezes, as if her mind grinded to a halt. She stares into a wall with slowly growing, empty eyes. She starts stuttering and is in a minute ready to for a sentence >Porsche… They made the 4501 that was converted in... Anon where is it, it could be a Nibelung, please tell me where it is, i didn’t think i had any sisters left here, please where is it Lily's voice ring of desperation
