She's a complete shadow, with no discerable features. IND WOMAN Ellis! Ellis smiles and gets out of his car. ELLIS Hi there sweetheart. A child runs out of the house and hugs Ellis. The child also has a shadowy look to him, with no real features to him. IND CHILD Dad, you're home! A german shepherd runs out of the apartment and runs around them. It barks in happiness. Ellis holds all of them. The woman leans into Ellis's ear. IND WOMAN You're a fucking failure, Ellis. All your friend's have successful relationships and here you are chasing tail. IND CHILD You're a fucking failure, look at yourself! All your friends are in the military or college and you've managed to get a shitty security job. And you live alone with a freeloading tranny that hasn't paid rent in what- Five months? INT. ELLIS'S APARTMENT - DAY Ellis wakes up screaming. Ellis checks the time on his phone. He sighs.
