>you wake up the next day around mid-morning >she is still curled asleep in your arms >you desperately need to pee >gently extract yourself from the embrace and go to the bathroom >you don't have work today, so no rush >decide on a quick breakfast and some video games until she wakes up >you grab a pair of pop-tarts and sit down on the couch >you turn the volume down so the noise doesn't wake her >after about a half-hour of gory slow-motion headshots, you hear noise from the bedroom >you refocus on the game though, because the enemy is after you >suddenly, your vision is blocked >”Good morning!” she says cheerfully, standing in front of you >in just her underwear >both of you are now blushing a bit >she said she was going to get you back >two can play at that game >you resist the urge to stare at her and try to look around her “Morning. You're blocking the screen.” >”That's it?” she asks while looking at you expectantly “Please stop blocking the screen?” >”UGH!” she throws her hands up in the air in frustration and sits down on the couch next to you. >”You're impossible, you know that?” >a smirk crosses your face as you glance at her “Would you prefer that I was easy?” >your witty comment is met with a couch pillow to the face, repeatedly >”YES! I'm throwing myself at you and it's like you're not even interested!”she yells as she batters you with the pillow >laughing, you half-heartedly try to fend her off while still not dying in the game >it doesn't work, the enemy finds you and takes you out >with that distraction gone, you drop the controller and focus completely on defending your honor with the other couch pillow >fifteen minutes later, the living room is covered in pillow stuffing and the two of you are in a standoff >both you and her have a sofa cushion in hand >you're both sweating and breathing heavy >you know if this keeps going something's going to get broke – besides the cheap pillows >you hold up your cushion in a non-threatening manner “Truce?” >her face lights up in a smile >”You surrender? That means I win!” “That's not what it means at all.” >”Does too! I demand spoils of war!” “Fine, sure, whatever.” >whatever will make her happy and keep your stuff unbroken >you brush a bunch of the pillow stuffing off the couch and put your cushion back >you turn around and she's right next to you >she gives you a gentle push down onto the couch >”Now, for my first spoil of war,” she looks down at you, biting her lip >crap, you didn't really think about what “whatever” could be >she sits down on your lap, facing you >her legs are on either side of you >you can feel your heart racing and your face turning red >she caresses your face with her hands, before pulling you in for a passionate kiss >she tastes vaguely like bananas >after what feels like a half-hour, she breaks the kiss and takes a deep breath of air >you expect her to pounce on you again >mybodyisready.jpg >instead, she smirks at you and hops off your lap >”Now, breakfast time!” she proclaims as she scampers into the kitchen >that little tease >she plays dirty >you take a moment to recover and try to hide the state she's left you in before coming into the kitchen >she's got a frying pan warming up and the carton of eggs on the counter next to the stove >”Pop-tarts aren't a real breakfast, you know,” she chastises you over her shoulder >you shrug, then look at her “You know, you shouldn't be cooking in just your underwear, it's a good way to hurt yourself. Where are your clothes, anyways?” >”They're in the bedroom. They're all dirty because SOMEONE didn't clean me after we went out last night.” “I'm not cleaning you while you're asleep! It wouldn't feel right.” >she blushes and looks away >”I-I wouldn't mind if you did it, though.” >this conversation just went weird “Look, go get dressed. I'll make breakfast, then get you cleaned up, and we'll go pick up some stuff for you.” >her face brightens up >”Okay!” >she scampers off >you finish making breakfast for the two of you just as she comes back >you eat breakfast in the dining room >she's practically inhaling her food >she's done before you get halfway through >as you finish eating she's already clearing the table and rounding up the cleaning supplies >you take your empty plate into the kitchen and dump it in the sink for later >when you come back to the dining room she's sitting on the cleaning mat >”About time! Hurry up!” she says before switching into rifle mode >she seems really impatient >so, with a smile on your face, you deliberately take your time cleaning her >45 minutes later, she's all put together again >she turns back into girl form >she's shaky and it looks like she's using all her willpower to control herself >”You do that on p-purpose, don't you?” she says shakily >you give her your best innocent smile “Do what?” >”I'm going to get you back, just so you know.” >she hops off the table and steadies herself against the table >”Well, are we going to get going?” “Sure, let me just grab wallet and keys.” >you grab your stuff, and head out to the car – she's already out there waiting for you >you open the door for her and then get in yourself >she snuggles up next to you as you back out the driveway and head for town “Hey, when we're in town, is it okay to call you “Ruby”? That's the name on your ID after all.” >”Yeah, that's fine – it's what it's there for. Why do you ask?” “I was just making sure. Plus I didn't want to have to call you “10/22” and have people be all confused.” >she shifts a little next to you, like she's nervous >”Ruger 10/22” is what I am, and “Ruby” is just a fake name. You can give me a real name, if you want to.” “Okay. I'll have to think about it, it's not something I have off the top of my head.” >”Okay!” she says happily, and kisses you on the cheek >about 20 minutes later, you pull in the parking lot of the first store >”Anon, what's a “Goodwill”?” “They sell donated clothes. For basics like T-shirts and pants you can get like 5 or 6 here for what one at a name-brand store will cost.” >”Okay. But I want some new stuff too!” “Okay, okay.” >the two of enter the store and do some clothes shopping >she seems to really like yoga pants, and you like seeing her in them >End up getting her a bunch of T-shirts, couple pairs of jeans, a pair of khaki shorts, and like 4 pairs of yoga pants >total bill was about the same as those two BX mags you got for her birthday >when people say having a rifle is expensive, you don't think this is what they meant >you put the shopping bags into the car and hop in >”Is there a mall near here?” “There's one on the other side of town, why?” >”Can we go there?” “Sure. What do you need there?” >she gets a conspiratorial look on her face >”It's a seeeeeeeecret, Anon! You'll find out when we get there.” >you drive over to the mall, and find a spot near the food court to park >you lock the doors here, because the mall is a popular hangout for the redguards >when you walk inside, there's a mall directory right by the door >since the RadioShack closed, you normally only go to the big sporting goods store that's at the end of the mall >she's scanning the directory intently, then suddenly grabs your hand and drags you off into the mall >she takes you into a wing of the mall you don't normally go into >she stops suddenly in front of a store >you look up >Victoria's Secret >no no no no no >”C'mon, let's go!” >she starts trying to drag you inside “T-this isn't really my kinda store. What am I supposed to do in here anyways?” >she stops and looks at you with a smile >”Tell me how cute everything looks on me, of course!” >you relent at that, and she pulls you inside >there's so much pink in the store >it's awful “Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,” you mutter to yourself >”Stop being so dramatic, Anon.” >guess that was louder than you thought >she finds you a open chair in the store, the rest already occupied by fellow men meeting the same fate >for a half-hour you dutifully compliment and offer opinion on everything she brings over >it feels like she's checking out most of the inventory, even the really lewd stuff >she's keeping secret what she keeps and what she puts back, though >no doubt part of her plot against you >once she's finally finished, she comes up to you with a bunch of stuff hidden behind her back >”Wait here for a minute, okay?” >you nod and watch her walk off to the registers >this is probably going to be expensive >”Anon! Come here!” “Okay, okay, I'm coming.” >you meet her up at the register >the cashier's already bagged everything >cashier tells you the total >$165 >so much for a case of that Copper-22 >you look at her >she has a half-embarassed smile >”I tried to get just sale stuff, but it was all so cute!” >you can't be mad at her, she did have just one set of underwear >pay for it and leave the store “Can we stop at the sporting goods store?” >”Okay!” >she hangs onto your arm as you walk through the mall >once in the sporting goods store, you make a beeline to firearms accessories >they have a few 10/22 things in stock >because of the clothes shopping, all you can do is window shop the parts >she likes the extended mag release and the auto bolt release plate >”What's this one do?” she asks, pointing to a product “That's a bolt buffer. Replaces the pin your bolt strikes against during recoil, so it's not as rough.” >she blushes >”I-I don't like that idea, I don't want one of those.” “Oh... okay. No problem.” >what's she blushing for? >while she's looking at the rest of the accessories, you head over to the ammo counter >they've got Copper-22 in stock >you buy a box of it and get a bag >if she wants to be sneaky you can be sneaky too >you walk back over to her “Ready to go?” >”Yep!” >as you start walking out, she notices the small bag you're carrying >”What did you get in there?” “Not telling.” >”You better not have!” “Better not have what?” >she narrows her eyes at you, trying to read your face “See anything you like?” you say with a smile >she swats you in the shoulder and then wraps around your arm >you walk out to the car >it's still there and nobody seems to have messed with it >one of the few nice things about driving a sedan from the 90's >you unlock her door first, and she reaches over to unlock yours as you walk around >you seem to remember an old movie that made a big deal about that >you hop in and drive home >when you walk inside, you see pillow material everywhere >right, forgot to clean that up >you hand her the bags of clothes you were carrying “You should be able to find a spot for these in the dresser and closet. I'll get this cleaned up.” >”Okay. What are we doing for dinner?” >forgot all about that >you two skipped lunch because of shopping and sleeping late “We could go out to the barn and maybe get some fast food afterwards?” >”That stuff's not healthy, you know,” she admonishes you as she heads for the bedroom >you get the living room cleaned up, and toss some leftovers into the nukeowave >15 minutes later, she comes out of the bedroom >she's wearing yoga pants and a slightly baggy T-shirt she found with the Ruger logo on it >you pull a plate of leftovers out of the 'wave and hand it to her “Should be healthier than fast food.” >she looks down at the vaguely-identifiable plate of food >”When did you make this?” “Like 4 days ago, in the slow cooker. It's been in the fridge. I had some, it's still fine.” >she eats as you go get the range bag >you fill up the drum with the new Copper-22's and one of the BX mags with the leftover Copper-22's from yesterday >you make sure to hide the container before you come out to the kitchen >she's just putting the plate in the sink “Ready to go?” >”Shooting? I'm always ready!” >she bounds out to the car ahead of you and hops in >you drive out to the barn, with her snuggled up next to you >the shooting out at the barn is pretty uneventful at first >she's accurate as always >you stop to put out new targets >she turns back into girl form before kissing you on the cheek and sitting down on the car >she's fanning herself with her shirt to cool off while you replace targets >when you come back you look at her with a small smile “Wanna go after that printer some more?” >”Sure!” >she jumps into your arms and turns into her rifle form >you grab the drum mag and load it into her, then grab the BX mag and stick it in your pocket “Remember when you said I shouldn't have, at the mall? I did.” >the rifle twitches slightly in your hands, but you're holding tightly onto her >you open fire on the printer >you can only seem to get about 5 in a row accurate before you start having to fight the recoil >after 20 rounds it goes back to normal for a few shots, then starts again >when the drum runs out you drop it on the ground and load in the BX mag >you fight the barrel climb for 15 rounds before that mag clicks empty >the empty mag falls to the floor as she turns back into girl form >”I knew it! I knew you got more of those!” she says accusingly in a breathless tone of voice >she's panting, red in the face, and her clothes are all disheveled >on retrospect, maybe you did take it a little too far >she's struggling to stay on her feet >”Please pick up the gear, we're going home” she says, still shaky >you quickly pick up the mags and ammo and stick them in the car >she's already sitting in the car when you get it >as soon as you close your door she dives across the car at you >one hand behind your head as she locks you into a wild, passionate kiss >one hand in your lap, teasing and tormenting like you've been doing to her >after a long time of making out, she breaks the kiss with you >you're almost as worked up as she is >she looks you in the eyes >”Drive.” >you nod, start the car, and get home in record time >when you get home, she grabs you by the hand and drags you into the bedroom >you'd done your best to resist her feminine charms >but there's some things you can't just hold out against >and there's some things that are better to surrender to >she is definitely one of the latter right now >the two of you drift off to sleep some time later, curled up against each other, skin against skin
