Okay, so you have found yourself bound like a side of ham and being carried off into the Amazonian jungles. You are probably worried about what comes next. Let's get the most pressing issue out of the way early. You are going to get raped. No two ways about it, it's gonna happen. The only way to prevent it is to give consent but the end result will be the same. With that out of the way, how your life will change from here on out depends on which tribe got their hands on you. Tribal customs and culture is a rather opaque study even for seasoned Amazonologists but as a rule of thumb, the further into the jungle you are taken, the more conservative the tribe will be. Equally, larger and older settlements and cities tend to be more set in their old ways whereas new settlements might be more open to new ideas; the urge to break with the old and musty of older generation being a driving factor behind why amazon daughters might choose to leave the guidance of their matriarch and lead a life of their own. Yes, more or less the same as why kids and young adults desire to move away from home in your world, Amazons are not that different from you and me in many ways. Assuming you are being taken to a larger city deep in the jungle, this will both be a blessing and a curse, how much of each will depend on your personal preferences. While the older customs of crippling males have mostly fallen out of favor, you will be harshly subjugated by restraint and violence until your demeanor is to the liking and custom of the tribe and your Amazon. At the same time, you will probably never be working or wanting for food and exercise ever again. You will be lavished with fine clothing (as far as Amazon clothing goes), fine food, body paintings and exercises to improve your body. A healthy and good looking male is one of the biggest signs of class and status among amazon families. You will be the key to their continuation of their bloodline and you must look like you can provide strong and healthy seed. Is the fine food and relative lavish life a worthy trade for the beatings and rape you will endure? Probably not for most people but you can at least take comfort in that there is nothing you can do about the situation. This is your life now. On the other end of the spectrum, you might be taken to a small village close to the edge of the jungle. Amazons living close to the borders are exposed to the outside world, there are even peaceful trading going on in some places and this has influenced the thinking and culture of the tribes there. They tend to be more humane in their treatment but you are also expected to pull your own weight, especially if you have some practical skills like carpentry, leatherworking or smithing. There is always a lot to be done in a small village and they can’t afford to have idle hands, even if they are small male hands. You’ll probably be spared the harder work though, amazons prefer their men to keep their hands somewhat soft and supple because of reasons. If you can live with the hard work, life in an amazon border village can be described as simple but meaningful and you’ll probably be beaten less if at all. Much to the scandal of conservative deep jungle amazons, some border villages have discovered that you don’t need to beat or restrain your males at all if you make them want to stay. Of course there is a sliding scale between these two examples and extremes on each side of the spectrum, where you end up is anyone's guess. It should also be noted that the personal preferences of the Amazon who captured you has more influence on your fate than location, whatever happens it’s up to her to do it after all. On the subject of escape, I have only one suggestion; Don’t. The wildlife in the amazon jungle is very hostile and trying to travel alone outside the known paths is dangerous even for Amazons. Traveling on the roads means that you will be discovered almost instantly as men never travel alone in the amazon jungles. You’ll be captured or dead within a day. If you do feel homesick, your best bet is trying to convince your Amazon to accompany you to your home town. Even the most hardened conservative amazon can be swayed by tales of the wonders of the modern world. Next time, the curious story about the time when a band of amazon raiders took up settlement in a human town.
