Option 2 is making the naming scheme up from an already existing fictional language - Tolkein stuff, Dwarf Fortress language maybe, whatever. Option 3 is taking Viet, French, and German names and trying to either fully or partly blend them.

Well, I was thinking that the land really tore these ones up. Their language is a really fucked version of Lamia that most Lamia can barely understand, they've completely lost their history and may have taken up some weird form of spirit animal worship. I'm imagining shamans letting themselves get bit by certain local snakes that would normally kill us, but just gives them really bad trips. They probably prefer being free as a consequence of their lifestyle, but aren't against slavery and limiting freedoms like most Lamia are.
