- What is your name? - My name is Anon, but most call me Kalash, due to my love for Kalashnikov pattern rifles. It's what I almost exclusively carry. - What do you look like? - Average height and build, not tall/short, fat/skinny and so on. White guy with blond hair and blue eyes with short beard. Think I'm decent looking at least, if i do say so myself. Elf girls seem to like it, but then again they seem pretty thirsty most of them time anyway. - What is your occupation? - I don't really have an official job right now in Fankasia. Just trying to settle myself in and get used to life here on the other side. Mainly just doing side jobs right now to help support myself and our small group. Might see if I can get some gigs doing security work for the Crimson Caravan, would be fun I think. - Why did you choose to go on this adventure? - Everyone wants to see new and exciting things in their life before they die, and I'm no exception. I wanted to see all the people, places, things, and so on that this new world had to offer. I was working a boring and tedious job back on Earth, making decent money for where I live, but that was it. My life was going to pass me by before I knew it and I would die without having really lived. So I struck out for the new world of Fankasia at the first opportunity that I had. I wanted to go on adventures, see incredible things, meet new peoples, taste exotic foods, defeat tough foes, and actually live for once. Maybe try to make a name for myself as an adventurer, like that famous Neumagh guy. Plus, who wouldn't want to be able to dress up in camo and gear and carry guns around without anyone batting an eye? Hard to do that back on Earth for most places. - What are your interests and hobbies? - Like most /k/ommandos that came through the portals for a new life, I like firearms and militaria. Camping and bushcraft, canoeing, adventuring and so on. I like to read and write too, so I keep a log of my adventures in a notebook as I go along on the way. Maybe someday people will read it and it'll inspire them to seek out adventure too. I like to cook, though I'm not too good at it. But I can do better than a certain ship girl! - What is your biggest fear? - Having died without really living. That or losing those I care about. it's a toss up really between those two. Just have to try to live life as best I can and hold on to those people in my life as long as I can. - What are you most proud of? - Having the guts to go through the portals to an untamed and dangerous land, and not dying on day one. Though I did come close to it thanks to that giant boar. And the orcs. And that goblin nest... - What secret would you never share with anyone? - Hah, well if I told you then it wouldn't be a secret anymore would it? I guess everyone has embarrassing things they want to forget about. Gotta keep those skeletons in the closet though, adds to the cool mysterious factor. Plus they don't mind so long as you give them a steady supply of milk. - What is the most important thing for you in the world? - Taking care of those who take care of me and having a blast while doing it. To make my mark on the world and leave behind a good story for others to tell when I'm gone. - Tell me 3 of your weaknesses - If I had to pick three...I would say that I can be hot headed at times, and be headstrong too. Which can lead to going off half-cocked without a plan or thinking about the consequences of my actions. And probably not practicing enough with my guns. Out here in the new world, if you're rusty and slow, you won't last too long. So don't shirk practice. - Tell me 3 of your strengths - I'm dependable and loyal. No need to worry about me stiffing you on a job or leaving you to die while I make break for safety. Hard working too, brought up that way by my parents. A pretty quick learner too I think. My first day, really my first few days in Fankasia were nothing impressive, to be honest. I wondered around without any real plan on where to go or what to do other than not die. I ended up killing what I thought was a big, full grown hog, getting chased by it's gigantic mother(which I have dubbed the boar-hemoth), getting captured by orcs, and taken to their village. Thinking I was going to be killed or eaten not two days into my adventure was not a pleasant feeling. But to my surprise I was spared, only barely, thanks to the chieftain. It cost me my Glock, which was my only other weapon since the chieftain's daughter had taken my AK. I ended up being put as a lackey in my own adventure as the chief's daughter, Akash, and an elf prisoner of his, Arieth, set out of the village so Akash could make a name for herself. Honestly I think it was just to get rid of her since there seems to be some bad blood between the two but I don't know for certain. Just going off how he acted towards her. And the village treated her pretty bad too. She ended up finding a goblin cave and we went in with no plan and one gun between the three of us. That ended about as well as you'd expect, with my last gun getting crushed by a hob goblin and us running scared for our lives for a couple of days. We just barely made it to the nearest town thanks to a passing dwarf on a cart making a trip to sell his wares. It has been a crazy start, but I'm being optimistic about it and trying to keep my head up. No giving up just yet.
